Full Job Description

We are a U.S.-based real estate company seeking a talented, experienced Video Editor & Social Media Manager for a long-term, remote position.

Our team handles filming, content creation, and creative direction. We're looking for someone who can transform raw footage into exceptional, engaging videos and independently manage the editing, preparation, and publishing of our social media content. Video editing quality is our highest priority. 

We want someone with a strong creative eye, excellent storytelling skills, and the ability to make our content stand out.

Compensation: $450 USD/month + Performance BonusesBased on our recent business performance, we estimate additional bonus opportunities averaging approximately $50-$100 per month, with potential for higher earnings as the company continues to grow. 

Estimated total compensation: $500-$550 USD/month, with opportunities for increased bonuses and long-term growth.Bonuses are performance-based, vary monthly, and are not guaranteed.

Job Responsibilities

Video Editing: Professionally edit approximately 30 short-form videos monthly, primarily real estate home tours, comedy, and lifestyle content.

Graphic Design: Create approximately 15 engaging carousel posts monthly.Stories: Produce approximately 60 Stories monthly using original and repurposed content.

Social Media Publishing: Schedule and publish approved content across Meta (Instagram, Threads, Facebook), TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.Postproduction: Handle color grading, audio enhancement, transitions, subtitles, music, graphics, and visual effects as needed.

Copywriting: Write compelling English captions, descriptions, titles, hooks, calls to action, and relevant hashtags.

Content Management: Maintain an organized content calendar, manage video assets, and ensure timely publication.

Creative Collaboration: Recommend editing improvements, trends, and content ideas while following our established creative direction.The 30 monthly videos are original edits distributed across the relevant platforms, not separate videos for each platform. Monthly production targets and turnaround expectations will be confirmed during onboarding.

Job Requirements

Professional Video Editing: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience preferred, with a strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional editing quality.

Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in video-editing software such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut Desktop, or equivalent.

Creative Ability: Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, color correction, audio quality, and engaging short-form content.English Proficiency: Strong listening comprehension and written English skills, including the ability to produce accurate, professional captions and descriptions.

Social Media Experience: Experience creating, scheduling, and publishing content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.Design Skills: Ability to create professional carousel posts, Stories, and video covers.Equipment: Reliable computer capable of professional video editing and high-speed internet for large file transfers.

Work Ethic: Excellent organization, communication, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines independently.

Availability: Able to coordinate with a U.S.based team during Texas business hours.Portfolio Required: At least three examples of videos personally edited by the applicant.Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates must be willing to complete a paid video-editing test.
