Property Manager for Real Estate

Full Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Property Manager to supervise the day-to-day operations, financial performance, and tenant relations of allocated properties. The property manager will be in charge of making sure that properties are completely leased, maintained, and in compliance with all laws.

Job Responsibilities

Property Operations

• Oversee day-to-day operations of residential and/or commercial properties.
• Ensure properties are maintained to company standards, including cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal.
• Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and capital improvement projects.

Tenant Relations

• Respond promptly to tenant inquiries, requests, and complaints.
• Enforce lease agreements, property rules, and regulations.
• Conduct move-in, move-out, and periodic inspections.

Leasing & Marketing

• Market available units and conduct property tours for prospective tenants.
• Screen applicants and process lease agreements.
• Maintain high occupancy rates and minimize vacancies.

Financial Management

• Prepare and manage property budgets, operating expenses, and financial reports.
• Collect rent, security deposits, and enforce timely payments.
• Review and approve invoices, contracts, and vendor payments.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal housing laws and property regulations.
• Maintain accurate records, contracts, and documentation.
• Address safety concerns and risk management issues proactively.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of property management principles, real estate laws, and leasing practices.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in property management software (e.g., AppFolio, Buildium, Yardi, etc.) preferred.
• Ability to manage budgets, financial reports, and contracts effectively.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and customer service skills.
