Full Job Description

We are a Texas-based media company that owns and operates multiple community newspapers. We’re looking for a Remote Newspaper & Graphic Designer to join our team and help with weekly newspaper production, ad creation, and digital design work.The ideal candidate will:

Work closely with our editorial and advertising teams.

Design engaging newspaper layouts, ads, and graphics.

Prepare files for both print and online publication.

Ensure deadlines are consistently met in a fast-paced environment.

This is a long-term, remote position with growth potential for the right candidate.

Job Responsibilities

Design weekly newspaper layouts and page templates

Create print and digital ads for clients

Prepare final print-ready files for press

Coordinate with editors, reporters, and sales teams

Maintain consistency in branding and style guides

Manage multiple projects with tight deadlines

Job Requirements

2+ years graphic design experience (preferably in newspapers/magazines)

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)

Strong communication skills in English

Ability to work independently and meet weekly publishing deadlines

Reliable internet connection and personal computer capable of handling large design files

Skills Required
