Position Overview:

Mattis Travel is seeking self-motivated individuals in Colombia who enjoy travel, customer service, and helping people create memorable vacations. Remote Travel Advisors assist clients with researching, planning, and booking cruises, resorts, family vacations, Disney trips, tours, transportation, and other travel experiences.

**This is a commission-based independent-contractor opportunity—not a salaried or hourly employee position. Earnings and client volume are not guaranteed.**

Compensation Disclosure:

Potential annual commission earnings range from USD $35,000–$70,000, approximately COP $107,529,450–$215,058,900 based on the September 14, 2026 exchange rate. The Colombian-peso amounts are estimates and will change as exchange rates fluctuate.

Actual earnings depend on completed travel sales, booking values, supplier commission rates, cancellations, refunds, chargebacks, and individual business activity. There is no guaranteed income, salary, hourly wage, paid leave, client volume, or employee benefits. Some periods may produce no income.

Advisors are responsible for their Colombian taxes, social-security contributions, equipment, and other independent-contractor obligations. Any required program or business costs will be disclosed before an agreement is signed.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Consult with clients about their travel preferences, budgets, and accommodation needs.

Research destinations, resorts, cruises, transportation, excursions, and promotions.

Create personalized vacation proposals and quotes.

Complete reservations through approved travel suppliers.

Explain payment deadlines, documentation requirements, cancellation terms, and supplier policies.

Support clients before, during, and after travel.

Maintain accurate client and reservation records.

Develop clients through referrals, networking, social media, and independent marketing.

Complete applicable supplier and destination training.

Job Requirements

Requirements and Skills:

Must be at least 18 years old.

Must reside in Colombia and be legally eligible to provide independent-contractor services.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Reliable computer, telephone, and internet connection.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent organization, research, and attention to detail.

Customer-service and relationship-building abilities

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Willingness to learn online booking and communication systems.

Travel, hospitality, customer-service, or sales experience is helpful but not required.
