SmartRecover is a human-powered SMS lead recovery service for healthcare and DTC brands. When leads abandon checkouts or forms, our team reaches out via SMS—supported by AI—to answer questions and guide them to conversion.
As Revenue Operations Manager, you own the systems and outcomes that drive revenue. You will improve our AI so it handles more conversations well, build and refine internal and external tooling to scale the team, and make our marketing and recovery engine more efficient. You run new client onboarding, optimize existing clients by improving how AI and humans work together, and own the metrics that matter: conversion rate, automation, and quality. You report to the founder and work alongside the operations team.
• Improve AI product quality and increase the share of conversations handled accurately.
• Build and improve internal and external tooling to support the team and scale operations.
• Make the marketing and recovery engine more efficient (conversion, flow, and quality).
• Run new client onboarding: turn client materials into documentation, training, and AI behavior that converts.
• Optimize existing clients by tuning how AI and reps work together and fixing what’s broken.
• Own and report on revenue and funnel metrics (conversion rate, automation %, errors).
• Document processes and create playbooks so the team can repeat what works.
• Train and align the operations team on systems and how to support optimization.
• Comfortable learning and using tools, workflows, and data to improve outcomes.
• Understanding of sales and conversion; can tell when a conversation or funnel is on- or off-track.
• Self-directed and proactive; proposes and implements solutions, not just problems.
• Clear written and verbal communication; can explain systems and changes to different audiences.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Nice to have: experience with AI or prompt design; background in RevOps, sales ops, or customer success; familiarity with healthcare or DTC.
