Risk & Revenue Manager - B2B Realty

Job Description

B2B Realty is a dynamic and fast-growing property management company that takes pride in delivering exceptional value to our clients. We are looking for a highly organized and strategic Risk & Revenue Manager to drive revenue growth while mitigating potential risks. This role requires a professional with a deep understanding of sales, revenue strategies, and risk management in a property management or real estate setting.

Note: This is a remote position and candidates will be working in US business hours (EST).

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overall sales vision, ensuring alignment with company revenue growth objectives.
  • Lead the sales team, focusing on leadership, recruitment, and tactical training to drive performance.
  • Implement strategies to increase unit count and revenue growth, ensuring the team meets key metrics.
  • Oversee goal setting and manage the sales closing processes.
  • Conduct sales calls, audits, and develop new lead generation channels.
  • Create and develop new products and revenue opportunities, launching offers and sales campaigns to expand market penetration.
  • Manage sales and marketing commissions, ensuring accurate calculations and timely disbursement.
  • Lead efforts to increase brokerage sales by 70% year-over-year through effective management of client referral programs and other growth strategies.
  • Create and manage templates for legal agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Handle legal threats, negotiating and resolving conflicts before they escalate to litigation.
  • Minimize company exposure to lawsuits, reputational damage, and financial risk by implementing strong legal frameworks.
  • Study and incorporate regulatory changes into sales and operational practices.
  • Manage company insurance, ensuring proper coverage and risk management protocols are in place.
  • Collaborate with fractional or retained attorneys to handle complex legal issues.
  • Ensure compliance with local business laws, overseeing legal matters related to evictions, contract disputes, and other relevant issues.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to safeguard the company’s assets, employees, and reputation.
  • Conduct ongoing risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
  • Establish and maintain internal controls to mitigate financial, legal, and operational risks.
  • Proactively handle all potential legal disputes, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing impact on the business.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on eviction laws and other legal matters related to property management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role with a focus on sales, risk, and revenue management, ideally within property management or real estate.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, legal frameworks, and risk management strategies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to drive performance and meet revenue goals.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills and a strategic mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (e.g., AppFolio, LeadSimple).
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external legal counsel.
