Roofing Production Quality Control Specialist (Remote)

Valiant Roofing is seeking a detail-oriented Roofing Production Quality Control Specialist to support our production team by reviewing and auditing job files before and after installation. This role ensures every roofing project is sold, documented, and prepared correctly so crews can install without errors or delays.

Responsibilities include reviewing contracts, scopes of work, measurements, materials, and production orders to confirm accuracy and completeness. The specialist will cross-check job documentation, identify discrepancies, flag potential issues, and report findings to the Production Manager. This role also helps maintain organized job records and improve quality control processes.

The ideal candidate is highly detail-driven, organized, and comfortable reviewing documents related to roofing projects such as shingles, flashing, measurements, and material orders. Strong written communication and the ability to follow structured processes are essential.

This is a remote position with flexible hours but must maintain overlap with U.S. Pacific Time.

Job Responsibilities

• Review and audit roofing job files to ensure the scope of work, materials, measurements, and pricing match the signed contract.
• Cross-check contracts, production orders, and material orders to identify errors, missing information, or inconsistencies.
• Verify project measurements, product selections (shingle type, color, accessories, etc.), and material quantities.
• Confirm that each job file includes all required documentation such as signed contracts, change orders, permits, and inspection reports.
• Identify and report discrepancies or potential issues to the Production Manager before the project moves forward.
• Maintain organized audit logs and update findings in the company’s job management system.
• Help improve quality control checklists and processes to reduce errors between sales and production.
• Communicate audit findings clearly and professionally through written reports and internal messages.

Job Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify errors or inconsistencies in documents.
• Ability to read and understand contracts, scopes of work, and job orders.
• Strong written English communication skills.
• Comfortable using common software tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or similar platforms.
• Organized and able to manage multiple job files and tasks at the same time.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and a professional remote workspace.
• Ability to work independently and follow structured processes and checklists.
• Availability to work during or overlap with U.S. Pacific Time business hours.
