SimpliVinyl is a fast-growing LVP flooring brand serving developers, general contractors, and property managers. We own our product line, fulfill via third-party logistics, and operate like a lean, scalable wholesaler. Our clients value speed, pricing, and service — and we’re expanding aggressively across the Chicago metro and beyond.

We’re looking for a high-performing, entrepreneurial Sales Manager — someone who can close deals now while helping shape the future of our sales organization. This is a player-coach role: we’ll give you the tools, training, and support — and you bring the drive to grow, lead, and win.

What You’ll Do

  • Actively manage and close a pipeline of warm inbound leads (daily)
  • Prospect new clients in the developer, GC, and property management space across Chicagoland
  • Build and execute a repeatable, scalable sales process
  • Coordinate with our admin to fulfill samples, deliver quotes, and track progress in CRM
  • Work side-by-side with ownership to develop pricing, partnerships, and sales strategy
  • Eventually help hire, mentor, and lead additional sales reps as we grow
  • Own your region — we want someone with Chicago-area connections and presence

Who You Are

  • 4+ years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in flooring, building materials, or related trades
  • You’ve sold to developers, GCs, or property managers and can speak their language
  • Confident individual contributor who can close deals and build systems
  • Entrepreneurial mindset — you’re excited by uncapped earnings and ownership opportunity
  • Strong closer, CRM-disciplined, and relationship-oriented
  • Local to Chicagoland and already plugged into the construction scene? Huge plus
  • Bonus: You bring a book of business or strong portfolio of clients we can activate fast

Compensation: Built for Closers

This is a performance-driven role with uncapped upside. We reward results.

  • Base Salary: $35,000–$40,000 USD
  • Commission:
  • 5% on first $100K in sales
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $3K/per month / $4K/month on sales target
