Role Summary

We are hiring a Salesforce Business Analyst / Admin to support both businessanalysis and day-to-day Salesforce administration.

You will:

  • Help the IT team manage and resolve Salesforce tickets and configuration work.
  • Help business teams map and improve processes.

This is not a developer role, however, the ability to create and troubleshoot Flows is a requirement.


Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis

  • Lead discovery sessions with business teams to understand workflows andpain points.
  • Document As-Is and To-Be processes using Lucidchart (or similar).
  • Identify bottlenecks and opportunities for automation and workflow improvement.
  • Translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Maintain and prioritize a backlog of Salesforce/process improvements.
  • Propose high-level solution approaches (e.g., Screen Flows, declarative automation, potential need for Apex) for review with developers.

Salesforce Administration & Support

  • Triage, investigate, and resolve Salesforce support tickets from internal users.
  • Perform configuration such as:
  • Page layouts, record types, and list views
  • Fields and validation rules
  • Profiles/permission sets and basic security changes
  • Reports and dashboards
  • Escalate complex issues to senior admins or developers with clear description and context.
  • Help monitor data quality and support clean-up tasks as needed.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Director of Technology Operations on priorities and solution design.
  • Coordinate with developers so requirements and configuration needs are clearly defined before build.
  • Provide limited UAT support (clarifying requirements, confirming expected behavior).
  • Assist with simple change management documentation or training materials when needed.


Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years working with Salesforce in a BA and/or Admin capacity.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration (page layouts, fields,validation rules, reports/dashboards; basic profiles/permissions).
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce concepts: objects, relationships, automation options, and limitations.
  • Experience documenting processes and creating workflow diagrams.
  • Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Business Analyst Certification.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification.
  • Experience working with distributed/offshore teams.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
