Seeking Web Designer and Developer for Web Redesign (part-time, hourly)

Full Job Description

Are you excited to have different challenges during the workweek? Do you like managing your own schedule? If you answered yes to these questions, we might be your new part-time home!

We are hiring a designer and developer for a time-sensitive web redesign project and then for ongoing monthly work. This is a part time job that would have a lot of hours in the first few weeks (the redesign); after the initial redesign, we would then have ongoing maintenance and design for the redesigned website and for another site that we have. 

The ongoing hours will vary month to month depending on what projects we have. 

There may be opportunities for other work (see OTHER SKILLS section below); however, the main skill we are looking for now is web design and development. 

INTIAL PROJECT (Two Phases) 

This is not everything but will give you a sense of the project.

PHASE 1 

• Redesign overall site (menus, feel, etc.). We will have concepts and wireframes.
• Redesign home page and key product/services pages (approximately 10-15 pages).
• Integrate training site into website to create learning center.
• Set up email list (we have a service) and get all forms on site updated/synced with appropriate lists and automation.

PHASE 2

• Add cookie and GDPR notices
• Overall site improvement and cleanup (plugins, etc.)
• Blog organization
• SEO optimization

OTHER SKILLS

If you have any of the following skills, there may be more work for you once we establish a relationship; however, the web redesign project would be the immediate priority.

• Graphic design
• Digital Ads (FB, IG, YT , LI, etc.)
• Social media marketing
• Email list building and funnels

IMPORTANT DETAILS

• Work Format. Working hours are East Coast (ET U.S.). In general, you will manage your own time, but we would expect you to be available for communication during these hours, particularly during the initial project. We will have a short virtual meeting some weekdays in the morning. We will communicate via project management software, email, and WhatsApp messaging/calls.
• Language. You must be fluid/native in Spanish and have advanced English, as we will be working in both languages. 
• Legal. Government ID and work for hire agreement required.
• Payment. Via PAYPAL only. Please do not apply if this method is not acceptable for you, as we are unable to add other payment methods. You will be paid by two businesses, depending on what site you are working on.
• PAY. Per hour worked. $7-10 depending on experience and skills.
