Job Responsibilities

Financial Reporting:

• Preparing and reviewing monthly financial statements for each property.Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.Consolidating financial data from all 5 hotels for company-wide reporting.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.Monitoring actual performance against budgets and providing variance analysis.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

• Overseeing the AP/AR processes, including the approval of invoices and managing collections.Ensuring timely payment of bills and proper record-keeping.

Payroll Management:

• Overseeing payroll processing, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, and handling related reporting.

Cash Flow Management:

• Monitoring cash flow and ensuring adequate liquidity for operations.

Internal Controls:

• Implementing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.Conducting periodic audits or reviews of financial processes.

Compliance and Taxation:

• Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.Coordinating with external auditors and tax advisors as needed.

Ad Hoc Analysis:

• Providing financial analysis to support decision-making by the management team.Assisting with special projects, such as new property acquisitions or system implementations.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years experience as a Lite Controller
• Strong attention to detail
• Proactive mindset
• Consistency in meeting deadlines.
• High Emotional Intelligence.
• Desire to learn and grow, regardless of the phase of your career you happen to be in.
• Proficiency in mastering financial management software and accounting systems.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and relevant regulations.
