Senior Power BI Developer (7+ Years) – Client-Facing, End-to-End BI Expert

Full Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Power BI Developer to join our team and support enterprise-level Business Intelligence initiatives. This role requires not only deep technical expertise in Power BI but also strong communication skills to work directly with business stakeholders, gather requirements, and manage expectations.

You will be responsible for delivering end-to-end BI solutions—from data modeling and transformation to dashboard development and performance optimization—while acting as a trusted advisor to clients.

Job Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and reports

Build and optimize data models (star schema, relationships, DAX measures)

Develop and manage ETL/data pipelines (Power Query, SQL, Azure tools)

Translate business requirements into scalable BI solutions

Work directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and manage expectations

Provide recommendations on data strategy and reporting best practices

Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize reports

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance standards

Job Requirements

7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence / Data Analytics

Deep expertise in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling, performance tuning)

Strong experience with SQL and relational databases

Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts

Proven ability to work with business users and senior stakeholders

Excellent communication skills (must be comfortable leading discussions and managing expectations)

Experience with Azure data stack (Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks) is a strong plus
