Job Summary: We're seeking a skilled Shopify Developer to build and optimize our e-commerce platform focused on automotive customization. In this full-time role, you'll collaborate with our marketing, sales, and installation teams to create intuitive, high-converting online stores that showcase vehicle-specific products like tint films, audio kits, and accessory bundles. If you have a passion for cars, e-commerce tech, and crafting user experiences that rev up sales.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Shopify-based e-commerce sites, including custom themes, product pages, and checkout flows tailored to automotive products (e.g., fitment selectors for vehicle models).

Integrate third-party apps and APIs for inventory management, payment gateways, shipping calculators, and tools like virtual configurators for customization previews.

Optimize site performance for speed and mobile responsiveness, ensuring seamless browsing for users searching for "window tint near me" or "car audio upgrades."

Implement SEO best practices, including schema markup for automotive parts and meta tags to boost visibility in search engines.

Collaborate with content creators to build engaging product descriptions, high-res galleries, and user-generated content sections (e.g., customer vehicle transformations).

Troubleshoot and debug issues, conduct A/B testing for conversion improvements, and ensure PCI compliance and data security for online transactions.

Stay ahead of Shopify updates and automotive trends (e.g., EV accessories) to recommend innovative features like AR try-ons or subscription models for maintenance kits.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on experience developing and launching Shopify stores, preferably in e-commerce or retail environments.

Proficiency in Shopify's Liquid templating language, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3 (including Sass/SCSS), and React/Next.js for advanced front-end work.

Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, including RESTful APIs, webhooks, and integrations with tools like Google Analytics, Klaviyo, or Judge.me for reviews.

Experience with SEO tools (e.g., Yoast or SEMrush) and performance optimization (e.g., lazy loading for high-res vehicle images).

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
