We are hiring a Short-Term Rental Management Assistant (Host) to support daily guest operations across our short-term rental portfolio. This role works closely with the internal operations team to manage guest communication, handle customer service inquiries, and ensure a smooth guest experience from booking through checkout.The Assistant Host is a guest-facing role responsible for responding to messages and calls, coordinating tasks through internal systems, and supporting reporting and administrative needs during non-guest-facing time. This position plays a critical role in maintaining response speed, professionalism, and service standards across all platforms.This is a long-term, full-time remote position aligned to Pacific Time working hours.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage guest communication on Airbnb and other booking platforms• Respond to guest and internal messages within 5 minutes during working hours• Handle inbound and outbound customer service calls professionally• Coordinate daily tasks and updates using Asana and Slack• Use Dialpad, Hospitable, and Airbnb on a daily basis• Assist with issue resolution and guest support throughout the stay• Complete data entry, file organization, and internal reports during non-guest-facing time• Maintain clear, professional, and documented communication at all times

Job Requirements

Advanced, American-quality written and spoken English (required)• Prior experience working with short-term rentals, Airbnb, or VRBO (required)• Confident and professional phone presence• Strong customer service and communication skills• Ability to work independently while staying accountable to a team• High-speed, reliable internet connection and stable electricity• Dedicated, quiet workspace suitable for calls• Computer in good working condition with a camera• Ability to work Thursday through Monday, 7:30am to 5:00pm Pacific Time• Must be able to respond to messages within 5 minutes during working hours
