Remote Construction Takeoff Specialist / EstimatorPosition: Full-Time Remote

Industry: Roofing & Construction

Location: Remote (Mexico / LATAM Preferred)

Compensation: Based on experienceAbout UsWe are a U.S.-based roofing and restoration contractor focused on commercial and residential projects. We are looking for a detail-oriented Takeoff Specialist / Estimator who can review plans, perform accurate quantity takeoffs, and prepare and submit competitive bids online.This role requires someone who is organized, fast, accurate, and understands construction drawings.Responsibilities

Review architectural, structural, and roofing plans

Perform material quantity takeoffs (TPO, shingles, flashing, insulation, etc.)

Measure plans using software (PlanSwift, Bluebeam, Stack, etc.)

Build estimates in Excel or estimating software

Source material pricing from suppliers

Identify scope gaps and missing details

Prepare professional bid proposals

Submit bids through online plan rooms (BuildingConnected, PlanHub, etc.)

Track bid deadlines and follow-up

Communicate with project managers regarding scope clarifications

Required Qualifications

2+ years experience in construction estimating or takeoffs

Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications

Experience with takeoff software (Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Stack preferred)

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Strong attention to detail

Reliable internet and ability to meet U.S. deadlines

Good written English communication skills

Preferred Experience (Big Plus)

Roofing estimating experience

Experience bidding U.S. commercial projects

Familiar with CSI divisions

Experience with TPO, shingles, waterproofing, or restoration

Experience submitting bids through online plan rooms

Performance Expectations

Accurate takeoffs (minimal material errors)

On-time bid submissions

Organized tracking of active bids

Clear communication

Ability to handle multiple projects at once
