We are seeking a highly skilled and disciplined Senior Video Editor to lead the visual production of our automotive commercial campaigns. This role is specifically designed for a creative professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-output environment and possesses a deep understanding of the automotive market's visual language. You will be responsible for taking raw assets and transforming them into sleek, high-energy 30-second commercials that drive brand engagement and meet rigorous broadcast standards. This position is ideal for a storyteller who balances technical precision with a sophisticated eye for design, ensuring every frame contributes to a premium viewer experience. The rhythm of this role is unique, requiring a candidate who can manage a significantly front-loaded workload during the first two weeks of each month. We need a reliable partner who can hit the ground running on day one, maintaining intense focus and speed without sacrificing the creative integrity of the final product. You will act as a primary guardian of our visual brand, ensuring that every commercial feels cohesive and intentional. Because of the recurring nature of our monthly cycles, we value an editor who is a quick learner, pays meticulous attention to detail, and demonstrates the professional maturity to eliminate repetitive errors over time.Beyond simple assembly, this role demands a high level of creative autonomy and the ability to innovate within brand guidelines. You will be expected to visualize how static images can become immersive environments and how motion graphics can elevate a standard car spot into a high-end production. While the primary focus is visual, there is a strong emphasis on the "total package," including sound and color. For candidates with a flair for language, there is an additional opportunity to contribute to the narrative process by drafting or refining English scripts, ensuring the spoken word aligns perfectly with your visual pacing.
Your primary daily responsibility will be the end-to-end post-production of 30-second automotive commercials, beginning with the ingestion and organization of S-Log3 footage. You will be expected to perform expert-level color grading to ensure a cinematic and consistent look across all vehicle models, regardless of shooting conditions. Alongside high-end polished spots, you will be responsible for editing User-Generated Content (UGC) style videos, blending raw, authentic "handheld" aesthetics with professional pacing and graphics. This requires the versatility to pivot between a sleek, broadcast-ready finish and a high-retention, native social media style that resonates with modern digital audiences.A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to high-intensity motion graphics work, moving far beyond basic lower thirds. You will be responsible for creating sophisticated graphic packages from scratch, often utilizing static imagery to build layered, dynamic environments through 2.5D animation and complex compositing. This requires a seamless workflow between Premiere Pro and After Effects, where you will manage versioning, implement feedback with precision, and ensure that every graphic element—from price overlays to feature callouts—is legible, aesthetically pleasing, and perfectly timed to the edit. Whether working with 4K raw files or mobile-shot UGC, you must maintain a "design-first" approach that keeps the viewer engaged. As the month begins, your responsibility shifts toward high-speed execution and deadline management. You must be able to navigate a high volume of deliverables in a short window, prioritizing tasks effectively to ensure all stakeholders receive drafts on schedule. Consistency is key in this role; you are responsible for maintaining a rigorous self-review process to ensure that technical specifications are met and that creative feedback from previous months is integrated into new projects. This proactive approach to quality control is essential for maintaining our production momentum and ensuring that every asset—from traditional TV spots to organic UGC edits—meets our high standards of excellence.
The successful candidate must possess at least three years of professional experience in video editing, with a portfolio that specifically highlights high-end commercial work or automotive content. Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects is non-negotiable, as our entire pipeline is built on the Creative Cloud ecosystem. You must demonstrate a mastery of color science, specifically the ability to manually grade S-Log3 footage to achieve professional skin tones and vibrant, accurate car colors. Additionally, your portfolio should prove your ability to create "design-forward" motion graphics that feel integrated into the footage rather than slapped on top. From a workflow perspective, we require an editor who is comfortable with a cyclical, high-pressure schedule. You must have a proven track record of meeting strict deadlines and the ability to scale your productivity during the "sprint" phases at the start of each month. Technical proficiency in audio post-production—including noise reduction, equalization, and mastering—is required to ensure our commercials sound as good as they look. We are looking for a professional who views "details" as a priority, showing the ability to follow complex briefs and avoid the repetition of technical or creative mistakes across different project cycles. While the core of the role is visual, strong communication skills and a high level of English proficiency are required. A major advantage will be given to candidates who can demonstrate scriptwriting capabilities, allowing them to bridge the gap between a marketing concept and a finished edit. Above all, you must have an impeccable eye for design and pacing, understanding how to capture a viewer’s attention within the first three seconds of a 30-second spot. You should be someone who stays current with automotive advertising trends and is always looking for ways to push the creative envelope within the constraints of a commercial format.
