Recrucial is representing a well-funded Stealth-Mode Startup at the intersection of AI and premium entertainment. Founded by serial entrepreneurs from the mobile gaming and AI sectors, the company is launching a first-of-its-kind platform that transforms high-end series and films into "Snips"—addictive, high-retention vertical episodes (9:16) for the mobile-first generation. We are seeking a Senior Video Editor to act as a narrative architect, blending cinematic quality with social media engagement.

Job Responsibilities

• Story Adaptation: Retell 16:9 horizontal footage into compelling 45s–2min vertical episodes.
• AI Refinement: Polish and enhance raw sequences pre-cut by proprietary AI tools.
• Retention Hooks: Craft powerful opening "hooks" and dramatic cliffhangers to maximize engagement.
• Visual Flow: Ensure optimal pacing, narrative clarity, and emotional impact within the mobile format.

Job Requirements

• Experience: 3–5 years of professional editing for major studios or global streaming platforms.
• Portfolio: A proven track record in scripted series, reality TV, or film editing.
• Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Narrative Instinct: Deep understanding of mobile-first storytelling and narrative pacing.
