Our team is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to support daily operations and ensure smooth communication between patients, providers, and staff.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Virtual Assistant, Medical Receptionist, or Administrative Assistant (healthcare or mental health setting preferred)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems and scheduling software (preferred, but willing to train)
Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality standards
Reliable internet connection and quiet remote work environment
Responsibilities:
Manage and respond to phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries in a timely, professional manner
Schedule, confirm, and update patient appointments
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA guidelines
Assist providers with administrative tasks, including documentation, forms, and correspondence
Verify insurance information and assist with billing support as needed
Track and follow up on patient referrals, authorizations, and medication requests
Support office workflow by coordinating with clinical staff and management
Perform other administrative duties as assigned to ensure clinic efficiency
