Our surgical office is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to support clinic operations, scheduling, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
-Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments and tests
-Transcription of dictations using transcription software; correcting grammar, punctuation, and formatting
-Editing and combining documents in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and Adobe PDF
-Organizing and summarizing voicemail, emails, medical charts, and Google Drive folders
-Assisting with document proofreading and completion
-Handling voicemail, email, and fax triage
- creating and filling out standardized medical questionnaires with patients.
-Maintaining and updating the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
-Coordinating task assignments and ensuring proper communication between staff
-Other Misc Admin Tasks.
Required Skills
- Nursing or allied health background is strongly preferred.
- Patient Confidentiality is paramount.
- Excellent organization and time management. Strong attention to detail. Clear written and oral communication
- Ability to edit, format, and combine documents accurately in Microsoft Word, Google Docs/Sheets, and Adobe PDF
Hours of Work
Preferred: 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday 8 hours / day)
Compensation
Competitive rate, commensurate with skills and experience
