Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Virtual Assistant to support our IV therapy practice. This role is essential in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by managing scheduling, insurance verification, patient communication, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.


Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Patient Scheduling & Coordination

Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments

Manage provider calendars and optimize daily schedules

Send appointment reminders and follow-ups

Insurance Verification & Billing Support

Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits

Communicate coverage details to patients

Assist with prior authorizations and basic billing inquiries

Communication Management

Answer incoming phone calls professionally and promptly

Respond to patient messages via phone, email, and text

Handle general inquiries about services, pricing, and availability

Route clinical questions to appropriate medical staff

Administrative Support

Maintain accurate patient records in EMR/CRM systems

Assist with intake forms and documentation

Track leads and follow up with potential patients

Support daily operational tasks as needed

Qualifications

Previous experience as a virtual assistant or in a healthcare administrative role preferred

Familiarity with insurance verification and medical scheduling

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Proficient with scheduling software, EMR systems, and basic office tools

Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality (HIPAA awareness preferred)

Preferred Skills

Customer service or call center experience

Bilingual (Spanish/English)
