As an E-Commerce Sales and Operations Specialist, you will support sales and customer service communications by responding to customer inquiries via email and chat, assisting with product recommendations, and providing technical support as needed. You will also play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our product catalog, managing data entry tasks for vehicle fitment, product images, specifications, and cross-reference information. Ensuring data accuracy and consistency is a key aspect of this role. Additionally, you will assist with customer order fulfillment processes, manage vendor purchase orders, and collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot product-related issues.
This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong written communication skills, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. A mechanical, sales, professional, or personal background in automotive, heavy-duty trucks & equipment, diesel tech, marine diesel tech, or aftermarket parts is highly desirable.
Respond to customer inquiries via chat, email, and digital platforms.
Provide technical assistance and product recommendations to customers.
Add and validate new product data, including vehicle fitment, images, and cross-reference information.
Maintain and enhance the accuracy and completeness of our online catalog.
Assist customers with product-related technical issues.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve order or product concerns.
Enter customer orders into our order management system.
Manage vendor purchase orders and ensure timely submission.
Update shipping and tracking information as needed to maintain accurate records.
Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written.
Strong ability to communicate effectively with customers via digital channels.
Significant experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (advanced functions like pivot tables and formulas are a plus).
Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and order processing.
Experience with SQL or SQL Server Management Studio is a plus.
Professional or personal experience in automotive, heavy-duty trucks & equipment, diesel tech, marine diesel tech, or aftermarket parts is highly desirable.
Outstanding data entry skills and high-level computer literacy.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining productivity and meeting deadlines.
