The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for managing sales inquiries, providing product information, and guiding customers through the sales process. The role requires enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to customer service.
Customer Interaction: Handle inbound sales inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms. Engage with potential customers, understand their needs, and provide appropriate product recommendations.
Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of product offerings, including Atlas StormMaster Shake, Pinnacle Pristine, Prolam shingles, and Premier Metals products such as Premier Rib, Legacy Rib, and Premier Loc Standing Seam profiles.
Sales Process Management: Guide customers through the sales process, from initial contact to closing the sale. Ensure all customer interactions are logged and followed up appropriately.
Quotation and Order Processing: Prepare and send accurate quotes, process orders, and coordinate with the operations team to ensure timely delivery and installation of products.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals. Address customer concerns and provide post-sale support.
Collaboration: Work closely with the outside sales team to ensure a seamless customer experience. Collaborate with the marketing team to follow up on leads generated from marketing campaigns.
Reporting: Track and report on sales metrics, customer interactions, and sales pipeline progress. Provide regular updates to the Sales Manager.
Experience: Previous experience in sales, preferably within the roofing or construction industry.
Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of roofing products, particularly those offered by Atlas Roofing and Premier Metals.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Organizational Skills: High level of attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.
